Born from a love of adventure

For years, we (Luke & Hazel) have travelled across Australia and South East Asia — camping from our car, chasing turquoise coastlines, and learning how little you actually need when you’re truly living. But everywhere we went, we noticed the same thing: bulky, boring towels that took up too much space and never really kept up with life on the road.

We wanted something different. Something lighter, softer and intentionally designed

Along the way, we were drawn to the word Malu — Hawaiian for peace and protection — a feeling that perfectly captured the calm of long days on the road. Later in our travels, we discovered traditional Turkish peshtemal towels, woven by artisans who’ve refined their craft over generations. Lightweight, quick-drying and made to last, they felt like the answer we’d been searching for. That’s how Malloo was born: a small, traveller-run brand creating thoughtfully made towels, designed by people who live the lifestyle, for others choosing to live it too.

Each Malloo towel is ethically crafted in Türkiye using traditional weaving techniques passed down through generations. We work closely with small producers who share our values of quality, sustainability, and attention to detail.
Is this towel suitable for sensitve skin?

Yes. Our towels are made from 100% natural Turkish cotton with no harsh dyes or synthetics. They're gentle on skin and ideal for daily use, even for those with sensitivities.
How do I care for my towel?
